Ayurveda is an ancient lifestyle science founded by the Hindu culture approximately 12,000 B.C. and provides the principles for living pure in higher and lower realms of existence. From material to spiritual, Ayurveda teaches the development of universal consciousness from the subtle to gross ranges of mind, senses and physical body while working to connect with spirit.

According to Ayurveda, the span of life is gauged from irregularities to regularities of abnormal or normal constitutional functioning of reflexes, sensory impressions, perceptions, mental workings, conceptions, and determination of will.

Through this magnificent science humans learn the proper conduct for life such as calmness, peaceful wisdom, hygiene, food, rest, activities for health, strength, senses, mental peace while it rectifies defects in one’s genetic constitution creating disease and ill health through the understanding of the three DOSHAS. The three constitutions of human makeup are based on the five elements creating three types of DOSHAS: Pitta, Kapha and Vata.

Through characteristics of pulse, body structure, hair, skin, tastes, habits, a TYPE is determined then, balance therapies, diet, and cures are recommended. This in turn improves health, longevity, prevents aging and brings increased balance into the being restoring normal state of functioning while correcting irregularities.

Ayurveda conveys that disease is the result of wrong notions in conduct of lifestyle habits and imparts the life process of developing awareness leading to self-awareness, self-expression and self-realization. Ayurveda is considered the best science of self-purification through practical conduct for fully engaging in one’s individual, unique life path.

It is understood that when a person is healthy, their doshas are in balance, appetite is good, and the physiology combined with mind and senses is full of bliss, always.
